MenuMeters is free, iStatMenus is not, and since the last version it logs to disk (4.x), annoying writes every few seconds, said they fixed in the latest built, NOT.

No worries, it's not as flashy as iStatMenus and does not have sensors but it uses less resources and it's an oldie.
