Will a i7-4930K work in a Mac Pro 5.1 already outfitted with a Hex?

If it is possible, what would be the advantages / disadvantages?

Think you're getting it confused with the i7-990 (I think, it's really late here and I'm about to kip) which can go in a 5,1
