The computer I am using crashed mid-way through the iTunes online activation, and now it won't re-do it. All I was asked for was my AppleID and credit card details. Then as I clicked continue...pooft bye bye Windows.

So I'm wondering if O2 'know' that my phone exists and is awaiting activation. Did I go through enough screens or were there ones after that? It won't let me do it again :(

Thanks a lot,
AppleMatt (wishing he'd waited until he was home on his Mac - I now hate Windows with a passion)

Is your phone working? E.g. can you access all the apps.

If the majority of the functions work but you're getting 'No Service' then I suspect everything's okay. The sim activation is taking ages (see other threads) but is completely separate to the Apple activation which - if your iPhone works - would seem to be complete.

Yeah the iPhone is working, when it's on it's either 'searching' or 'no service'.

That makes me feel a little better then, thanks.
