I just noticed a very small hairline crack in what seems to be the display in my iPhone. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the glass on my phone just a small 3/4" line where it looks like someone slipped a hair in under the glass. It's only on the screen and it doesn't descend into the "Black" part of the glass, just stops at the coloured part. Has anyone else had this happen to them and what did you do to get this remedied? It's a 5 month old 3Gs that hasn't seen the floor, heck there's not even a fingerprint on the screen!

my brother had this problem. He got the screen replaced in under 10 minutes at the apple store despite the fact that his water sensors are tripped.

Take it in. As long as it doesn't look like you threw the thing off a balcony, they should fix it free of charge.

Definitely go to the apple store. Apple has a great track in customer suppot with these types of issues

iPhone was replaced @ Apple store!

Well I went into the Apple store today and they replaced the whole phone for me. There was a small "Pressure" crack on the display, but the glass screen was fine. At first he was going to just replace the display but then I pointed out to him that I also had a crack on the case by the "Silence" button and he just replaced the phone after that... So I now have a brand new iPhone!
