Just completed the Yosemite installation (2010 MBP, 10.10 update not clean install) and now I get intermittent distorted/crackling audio when paired via bluetooth to my Bose Soundlink Mini.

It is much more prevalent when I open/utilise an application or even simply by clicking through Finder windows.

Has anyone experienced this through the public/developer previews or can test it now to see if they have any similar issues?

Same here and the trick with terminal doesn't help. I wonder why they can't get BT Audio on Mac just work out of the box if they can do that on iOS.

Happening on both your macs in your signature? Only asking because the guy above has the same MBP as me. Just wondering if it's limited to certain macs...

i'm having this same problem using BT audio when paired to my Logitech Z600 speakers and my late 2013 rMBP 13". i hadn't noticed it before since i haven't played any music since updating to Yosemite. I may have to grab the aux cable and plug in directly via cable for now, but this problem is ridiculous. i went through the forum posting in the Apple forums and it seems like a lot of users are having this problem too.

one would have thought with an open beta they would have unearthed and corrected this issue prior to the official release....

Well, I admit that I had open beta on a external disk with some basic apps and have not used Spotify with BT speakers on it.

It's possible that many people who play music from their Macs via BT (I guess they are not a big part of overall number of Mac users) did likewise or haven't install public beta at all.
