Hey everyone. We wanted to let you know that CraigsMobileList v1.9 has been approved and is now available in the App Store (link below). We've spent a lot of time rewriting the entire app and implementing our new UI.

v2.0 is on the heels of v1.9, and will be submitted this week and hopefully available to you in the next couple of weeks.

v1.9 is also on sale for $0.99 until 2.0 is released.

We really appreciate all the support over the past year. It's your support that allows us to continue to push out updates and make a better product.

Not going to get this as I'm not really a Craig's List user. Only comment is, "Darn this interface is nicer than the online version".

That is one ugly website.

it keeps crashing on me once i go to do a search. trying a reboot now of the phone

Update: running fine after reboot. Is their no option to sign into your own craigslist account?

after some more use I have gotten 3 crashes now in the past 5 minutes of searching through it.

Are you on an Edge connection?

We actually fixed most of the stability issues already while waiting for apple to approve 1.9. Version 2 fixes those and also adds posting and login support. We will be submitting that this weekend.

In the meantime, try disabling the thumbnail images in the setting tab. The crashes were because of memory issues related to the thumbs and were the worst on edge connections.

I was on 2 bars of 3G in my office. I will try again later when I leave with a better 3G connection and/or wifi. I will also try the disabling of thumbnails. Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7C144 Safari/528.16)

UI looks great, and good to hear you'll be adding posting support soon. But I'm on wifi, and it's crashing all the time for me. Even after a reboot. And even with thumbnails turned off!!

Try disabling the thumbnails in the settings tab, that should be a workaround. It's a memory leak that has to do with the thumbs. We've already fixed the problem and will be submitting the update (v2.0) to Apple this weekend.

On a side note, I'm glad you like the new UI. We've added to it in 2.0 along with the posting/account support. I remember you from our other threads from a while back. Thanks for sticking with the app for so long!

EDIT: hmmm. Shoot me an email (info@msimplicity.com) with some details on what device you're using and if you're able to reproduce a specific crash and I'll see if we can recreate it on our end.

are there any trial versions? i use craigsphone (free) and its good. i need to post ads with it.

I just bought this because I wanted a nice looking app that has thumbnails.

I'm on wifi, and it crashes everytime with thumbnails on....and it won't show the thumbnails, so I will be anxiously waiting for 2.0.

If it fixes this issue and adds posting and account support....I will be very pleased. Thanks.
