Update:
The fix I know of is to change input mic to internal in sound settings.

Fixed!
Hey all,
I have been trying to use my AirPods Max on my MacBook Pro M1 and it seems to not kick over to proper sound quality. It's degraded like when on telephone call, or some type of conferencing software (zoom, etc..).
Works perfectly fine on iPad and iPhone.
I have tried resetting, with no luck. I am starting to believe it's a MacOS issue. In that case I have a MacBook Pro M1, so I believe there shouldn't be that much communication issues, due to the newer model and better support.
Has anyone encountered this issue with a remedy?
Thanks!
