Crash report iTunes helper

I don't see a dedicated forum for iTunes so I am posting this here. I hope that's OK.

Almost inevitably about 5 minutes after I log on, I get a crash report telling me that iTunes helper has crashed. I don't use iTunes except rarely to add apps to my wife's phone. I certainly don't knowingly load iTunes helper. I have checked my startup items in System Preferences and I don't see it there. I have iTunes 12.6 and OSX 10.10.5.

Any suggestions?
