I hit the "Reset All Settings" button on my Jailbroken 3.0 3GS and basically it would never reboot again (the Apple sign would repeatedly keep coming on but never actually reboot). So I put it into DFU mode and had to update it to 3.1.3. Good thing my last sync was September 8th, I'm definitely doing more syncs from now on.

Anyways, will I be able to jailbreak again with 3.1.3 on a 3GS? I know the dev team is always coming out with new ones but I just wanted to make sure that this doesn't mean I'll ever be able to jailbreak again (basically I'm stuck without a jailbreak and really want one back, so I'm asking when's possibly the soonest it'll come out)?

Hmm, what are my options with downgrading? I also hear that some iPhones jailbreaks haven't performed the best with some of the 3.1 branches..

EDIT: I just looked up iPhone 3.2 and supposedly it's coming out when the iPad rolls out in late March. I think I can survive 3 weeks without SBSettings, 3G Unrestrictor, Winterboard (I will miss it) and Categories ;) , I'm sure 3.2 will get a jailbreak, but you're right: a small update like 3.1.3 won't get a jailbreak anytime soon.

The iPad release has been moved back to April, last I read.
And from what I have read it's not certain Apple will release the 3.2 firmware for the iPhone, may just use it for iPad for now.

We shall see.

If u have your shsh's saved thru cydia you can downgrade and jb but the unlock won't be an option any more.
I never did anything like this, but whenever the new iPhone update comes out (or if one for 3.1.3 comes out), realistically speaking, I will be able to jailbreak my 3GS again, right?
