Crashes on mds

Hi there, getting many many many crashes in the background in mds.
The process says: mds [9937]
but I'll get many within 4-20 minutes of each other. Sometimes mds [8109], mds [7949] etc

Usually, I never see anything happen as its in the background. However, I get kernel panics recently. Mac just shuts off and when I look I see a ton of these crash reports with mds as the process. Can someone please help me figure this out?

Does this occur if you are logged into a newly created User Account?

I've not tried that. I can also upload crash report(s) necessary!
