Recently I had begun to have crashing problems with GB. I never used it much until recently other than for a few tests, however now that I've started using it quite a bit, or trying GB is crashing every time I try to save a song file. If I just close the window on a song opened with no changes GB stays open, which I now don't think it should. I could be wrong on this; feedback on this point #1 would be nice - but if I close on changes I get a Crash and 30 seconds later the crash report window, and GB then refuses to quit until I open the finder and force quit from there.
Now, I did a few tests: stripping and reinstalling, removing extreaneous
GB files - all those extra tutorials in foreign languages, etc, relaunching, all the way down to reinstalling my whole operating system. What I found was this: that if I strip and reinstall, etc or any combo of these test GB 1.0 will work fine. Saving: no problem. RE-opening, closing, saving, all no problem. GB immediately closes itself as soon as I save a song. ( this is why I asked the question above) However once I download the update GB 1.1 BANG The app crashes- all the time.

Crashing by design cont.

Now, what I'd like to know is if anyone else is seeing a recurence of a similar problem, and if they are, what have they done; if anything? Also if they are, i'd like them to try to reinstall GB without the update to see if it fixes the problem on thier computer. Being that this would hopefully mean that something in the update is screwing up my App.
I'm running a powerbook G4, 1.25 gz, with 1 G ram, 80 G HD, with over 62 G of free usable space.
If someone does find this to be true please post back to me with this information
