CrashSafari forced a restore.

Be careful guys, I'm on iOS 9.3 and after clicking a shortened link that took me to the crash safari website my safari app refused to function normally.

After several hard resets the browser still crashes if I tap the address bar ( before the keyboard even pops up). I imagine I'll have to restore to fix this now

Have you tried clearing all Safari data in settings? Also disabling some settings like Safari suggestions?

Edit: Clearing all website data fixed it. What an annoying freaking website, thanks so much for the help. I couldn't find anything where other people were having these issues and I thought I was screwed but I didn't even think of clearing the data.

Hey, its your fault for going to a website that's supposed to crash your safari

For the time being don't just blindly click on links. If you long press on the link you can see the full address and know if it's good or not.
