I happen to have something odd in my MBP from last week of November. The problem is that since some weeks I have some odd crazy thing in my screen. It doesn't look like a deadpixel or something. But it annoys the hell out of me when working in PhotoShop.

Does anyone know if such thing would be repaired?
I hope so I can 'live' with the black speckles in the aluminimum casing but this...

Yeah, it's quite annoying. I don't think its something that should be in the screen, though. It's bigger then a deadpixel too. It's photoshopped though, because I can't make a good photo of it. It's a tid bit smaller in real life. But still annoying enough, and it ain't dust. It's on friggin annoying place too! See the url below:

That didn't really work out! I will give the Apple Store a try next week. Maybe some people Sydney would be able to help me out.

It is probably a speck of dust or dirt. I had a similar experience with a ThinkPad. I caused the issue by using compressed air to clean my laptop. The air forced a speck of dirt between the backlight and the LCD panel. I don't use compressed air anymore. If you think about it, it's not a great method to clean a laptop, all ti does is force dust/dirt into areas where it wouldn't normally go.

+1 for dirt.

I once saw a bug crawling around. It died on the left side, out of sight.
