I am stuck at this ? from windows 8 download site:

" If you want to install windows 8 on another partition you need to create and then run the media to install it.

I need to choose one of the below:

1. USB flash Drive

or

2. ISO file(You'll need to burn the ISO to a DVD later)

My goal is to download this windows 8 pro tonight before tomorrows price increase. I am downloading it to my windows sony vaio with vista and want to do transfer /use the download to perform a fresh install of windows 8 pro on my mac mini 2012(no odd) using parallels.
I do not want to upgrade the VAIO from vista now.
I don't know wether to choose 1(USB flsh drive or 2(ISO) file, or can i do both by choosing one and going back and choosing 2.?
 
A couple of things:
1) The windows Pro will noy retain/transfer your data from any previous OS except Windows 7. You are using Vista so it will be a clean install.
