Create new iTunes library file?

I had a problem with iTunes not finding all of my tracks, so after deleting the plist file and restarting it, I now have all my tracks.

That's the good news.

Bad news is I had to create a new library to load up when not at home to listen to my iTunes Match songs and now when I come back home and upload the At Home library, it loads up the library with missing songs again. So is there a way to replace that library file or update it?

Is that going to require iTunes re-adding all songs though? Not just using the existing library and update the file?

I don't want to delete dead tracks. I don't have dead tracks. If re-adding my iTunes library is the only solution, fine. That just seems ridiculous since I've had to do just that multiple times since using iTunes Match.

Oh, my bad. I have misunderstood what is meant by missing songs in the first post.

Ok, the last thing to try is the Add to Library option. File -> Add to Library... and selecting the iTunes Music folder.

Sorry to bump this, but I was wondering if there is a better way to manage this scenario.

I'm currently following advice given here on using iTunes Match away from home then reverting back to it when back on the shared drive network. However, an issue I have with it is having to always re-add my library to iTunes Match. This doesn't cause an issue with iTunes Match per se, but it does seem like an extra step that shouldn't be there, and requires a bit of tooling with iTunes to make sure it shows all files.

So is there a way to a.) keep my "Away from Home" library added on iTunes Match so all I have to do is load it up and it show my iCloud mnusic, and b.) keep my "At Home" library intact so it always shows all music and I don't have to delete the .plist file every time I load it up? My current workaround is I load up iTunes with the "At Home" library, it's missing songs, so close iTunes and delete the .plist file, then reload the "At Home" library which now has all music.
