you might need some more powerful servers for your infrastructure if you are creating your own internet, maybe run you a few billion dollars. But if your wondering about possibly setting up your own home network then you might want to just buy a router. But if you are feeling ambitious you could transform that g3 into a router with some linux distro.

Tell you the truth I have no idea what you are actually asking...

What is your ultimate goal? Do you want to share media or files? Do you want to be able to run applications remotely? Do you want to host a web page of some sort? What exactly are you trying to do?

I'm guessing English is not his first language... (the word internet is used very vaguely in other countries) so maybe he wants to create his own web page?

I want to set up so I can put all my music on the Power Mac then goto an IP address anywhere in the world and get that music (with RSS?)

EDIT: Or really any kind of document, anything from word docs to MP3s.... so basicly I want to make my own .Mac

What you want is AFP/NFS sharing though your router. Enable the file sharing on your Mac, and use port filtering to enable external access. Default AFP port is 548.

You might also try using SlimServer to stream your audio. (I used to do this a long time ago with MP3 Sushi.)
