There have been a lot of questions on this forum from users wanting to encode good quality videos for the tv that also plays on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Here are some step by step instructions I made for a friend of mine for creating a preset in HandBrake that looks great on tv, but is still compatible with iPhone/iPod Touch. I think it might benefit a lot of other users on this forum. Keep in mind, this is ONLY A GUIDE, it is not a definitive answer. Most of these settings are a matter of personal preference, these just happen to be MY personal preferences. It's attached to this post as a pdf.

What is different about your Hybrid preset than the AppleTV preset that makes it compatible with an Ipod Touch? The default AppleTV preset encodes at ABR of 2500 also...?
