Can someone help me out. I am trying to take a few address lists from the internet and some how copy and paste them from the web to make an address list or database that I can then reference for mailing lists or contacts. Any help you could give this beginner would be greatly appreciated.

What you can basically do is import the document into Excel, do some reformatting, so that it becomes a table with a structure of parts of the address (name, street line 1, street line 2, city, state, etc) in columns, and individual addresses in rows. If the addresses are in a neat, consistent format, you can usually do this without a lot of re-typing.
Then, you can mail merge this document with Word so that fields in the Word doc read from fields in the Excel doc. But first, we need more info on what the address list you have now looks like.
Here are a few samples of the addresses. I can use office or an other program that would work. I understand the copy and paste part in Excel except can't figure out how to get the info to pasted horizontal so the colums will line up.
