Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to have an applescript that when run will create another applescript and save it to a designated folder. Putting it into perspective, I want to be able to run a setup script type of thing that will create a script and save it in the speakable items folder.

Thanks

Not that I'm aware of, although maybe someone else will know a way. Could you not copy the script from another location e.g. an FTP site?

Or maybe you could save the Applescript as an application and store the second AppleScript into it's Resources folder, copying it from there as required.
