When running Safari on my 2012 macbook pro (ML) one of the installed bookmarks is titled 'Popular' and clicking on this reveals a drop down list of various websites.

Is it possible to for me to create my own dropdown list of websites and give it my own titles? For example, could I create one called 'Shopping' and then have a dropdown list of my favourite shopping sites? This would save cluttering up the bookmarks bar with loads of bookmarks.

right-click on the Bookmark Bar to create your own folder. Add bookmarks to this folder via the "add bookmark" command.

Just drag a folder off the bar to remove it.

Brilliant, thank you. Easy when you know how:)

How do you delete individual bookmarks from the folder?

Edit - Ive just figured it out, right click on folder - Edit Contents - select bookmark to delete - right click - delete.
