Can I ask you how long it took you to learn Flash to able to create this type of web page? This is something I am interested in persuing and am wondering how complex of an App it is to learn and how long it would take before I could start putting something together like you have here...
I've been getting stuck in for about 2 months with Flash, but prior to that I've done loads with Illustrator as well - and the compatability with both programs are great so you can design graphics in illustrator and put them into Flash, you can even define symbols in Illustrator, and port them into Flash.
Actionscript is fairly logical, this is the scripting language that allows you to do clever things like pre-loaders, or simple things like link buttons to a movie clip.
Flash is an extremely powerful piece of kit, and every day I love finding out something new, and being able to do things I've seen elsewhere! There are loads of great resources out there - give it a go, start simple and the sky's the limit!
It is very dark. Maybe that is the intention, but I still find it not very pleasing to the eye using the combination of black and pink so much.
Also, the scroll bar at the homepage could be made more nice looking. The same for the boxes where you put your info (last name, etc). Maybe rounding them can improve it a lot.
Pink and Black was the client's idea, it has to look similar to their print material, so we keep with the branding, however the nature of the target audience love these kinds of colors and is appealing to them.
The scrollbar on the homepage - I'm looking up ways to style these.
Sign up box - again, I intend on styling this up!
Thanx for your thoughts on this - it does help!
