Here's some artwork that I have done. I'm just looking to get some honest opinions about it. There are also some logos that I have created for some clients. I'm a graphic design student that freelance's on the side to expand my portfolio.

Some good stuff, so stuff that is just a little "off"
Your typographic work needs a bit more study and work.

All in all solid work.

Not too sure about the one on the top right, but I don't know the context, so it could be okay. Other than that, everything looks great. I especially like those figure/ground studies.

Thanks! The One that say's AB is a chop design that I did for my History of Graphic Design, It wasn't done for an client just put it in there. I have more that I'm gonna post some collage's.

But thats for the comments, I'm always trying to improve me work.

Thanks

I like 'Pathway' although I think the colour is a bit too bright and I'm not sure about the type used (or the capitalised Y), but I think the idea is really good.

The 'Be Creative' one is also interesting although the colour of the strip doesn't seem to work well with the green.

I like the one with the coloured blocks/shapes - reminds me of Kandinsky.

I agree with the typography comment. Watch your kerning... such as in the first one, the space between the "m" and "s"... then look at the space between the "f" and "I". It might be a little picky, but it's most often ignored in graphics with copy in it.

Pathway is nice but in my opinion it still requires a bit of work. Imagine if that logo is used on a business card. It will need to be reduced somewhat and in doing so will render the type almost illegible as well as possibly 'closing' the negative pathway. My advice would be to make the type larger and possibly place it to one side or underneath the symbol and make the negative pathway bit wider to allow for reduction in size. That way the path will still remain visible when severely reduced.

Just my two cents :) Also it may be because the files uploaded are RGB but the colours are bit too intense for my liking too. Almost luminous; it hurts the eyes somewhat. Oh and drop the uppercase 'Y'. Theres no neeD!
:)
