Hey guys - I'm a relatively new FCP user and I need some help:

I've got some footage that was shot with a mattebox and the problem is that in several of the shots, the mattebox was applied incorrectly and you can see it along the right and left edges of the frame. I'd really like to use this footage, so I was wondering if there was a way to "crop" the picture a bit, then blow it up so that there are no "letterbox" edges along the left and right. I know I can do the aspect ratio letterboxing to fix the top and bottom, but this doesn't help along the sides because letterboxing the sides would be plain silly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind - I just figured it out. :p

In case anyone needs to do this - you just use the "Motion" tab above the viewer. The "zoom" and "crop" tools are in there.
