Hey'lo:

Actually just a quick one!

I'm wondering how steam games runs thru crossover games? - is it ALL games, or is it just a few? (in that case; which?)

And which experiences does people have using "regular" crossover for gaming..?

My rig;// MacBook Pro. 2,2 GHZ, Dualcore 2. 2 gig Ram. Nvidia 8600 GT, 128 MB.

Having played through Half-Life 2 both in boot camp and through Crossover on the same machine, the short answer is very well. The one caveat is that Crossover doesn't currently support DirectX 9, so a few of the more advanced graphical effects are not available, but the game still looks very good and runs perfectly smooth at full 1920x1200 resolution on my 3 Ghz iMac. The only graphical artifacts I've seen are very minor and I haven't experienced any crashes at all. I'm currently playing through HL1 and Episode 1 through Crossover and both work perfectly.

I've also heard that the Steam version of Civilization 4 works perfectly, but I haven't yet tried that myself.
