Hi

I have Crossover Games and installed the Windows version of Dragon Age Origins Ultimate collection.

It all installed OK, except when you run it some of the intro graphics do not show up.

It all seems to run OK and looks OK, but whilst following the Prologue intro into the game I got an on screen message asking if it was OK for Wineskin to connect to the internet.

Why would it need to do that ?

I'm confused...

If you got a prompt asking about Wineskin or WineskinX11, well thats just your firewall... and he fact that the X server always connects... if the program you are using doesn't need to, you can also say deny and it won't matter.

But I'm confused over the fact you said you are using Crossover, which does use Wine, but not Wineskin... did it maybe say wineserver, or wineloader?

Wineskin itself works very much like Crossover behind the scenes, but its designed around actually bundling everything up into an actual Mac App, much like Cider is used to make a Mac app.
