Ok, I have a Macbook 2.2 GHz 4GB Intel Core 2 Duo
I installed Crossover (version 6.2.1) and I have Steam running. Now when I run games like Counterstrike 1.6, Sven Co-op, etc I am running a steady 10-15 Fps, but when I run Counterstrike:Source, Half life 2. I get up to about 30-60 FPS. That already began to confuse me.
But when I run boot camp and play the same games, I run from about 50 in CS 1.6 and Sven Co-Op goes across the board from 3-60.
Counter Strike Source runs at 10 all the time.
What Im trying to figure out is how is Crossover running better than Bootcamp like HL2 and CS:S. and then Bootcamp run 1.6 better? Is there something in the settings im not doing right?
I have all settings in the games on low.
Side note. I play Left 4 Dead on Bootcamp and Single player I get 15-50 depending how open the area is. But Online (Versus, Campaign) is dreadful all the time.
