Hello,
Will this RAM from Crucial work in MacBook Pro 13' 2012 (2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5) model?

Since I am living in Norway I plan on ordering from here instead of ordering from crucial.com due to customs tax.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The parts that you are looking at CT2KIT102464BF160B are compatible with your MacBook Pro 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 (13-inch DDR3) Mid-2012.

Hm.. at crucials web -site, in the left at the same page there' is wizard, which, after I enter MBP 13 '12 in the wizard says:

This part CT2KIT102464BF160B is not compatible.
View compatible parts for the MacBook Pro 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 (13-inch DDR3) Mid-2012.

P.S. But whatever it shows compatible is, essentially the same as CT2KIT102464BF160B based on specs they provide... weird.

Good you're choosing Crucial. Just as a recommendation, try to avoid Corsair Value Select memory kits. I've heard several problems including one of mine with memory not working correctly.

Yes I've noticed that intially, but I through it should work since it has same specifications.

Wasn't aware, appreciate the advice given. ;)

Andre, did you install the Crucial 16 GB kit, CT2KIT102464BF160B? I too see the "not-compatible" message on the Crucial site, and the configurator wants you to spend the extra $3-$4 for Crucial # CT3327430, but I see no difference in the specs between these two models. Both are 1.35 v, CAS 11, etc. etc.

I know it's only $4, but is there a reason why I should not get the less expensive CT2KIT102464BF160B?

By the way, the RAM would be going into a base i5 13" MBP.
