I purchased Crystal adblocker way back when content blockers were first supported on iOS.

The app is installed on my phone but for various reasons I removed it from my iPad to test something.

I now can’t seem to reinstall the app on my iPad as the App Store is saying I don’t own the app and wants to charge me another 79p to buy it again.

I have checked through my purchase history and the app doesn’t show there at all.

I have also checked through all of my hidden purchases and it doesn’t show there either.

Does anyone know how I can simply redownload my already purchased version?

Many thanks.

M.

If it’s not there in your old purchased list then you may have bought a different version that’s since been removed from the AppStore?!

The version on my phone is the latest version in the App Store.

Not with that app but I've had other apps that I got for free as part of some deal or when some companies were offering apps when you used their products - on my iPhone but when I try and install the iPad version it wants me to pay for it. Must be something about the purchase that only applied to a phone version vs. a universal version. Frustrating.

Yep that’s what it is. Not every app is universal. So some companies might charge separately for their iPhone and iPad apps. Although on the iPad you can filter for iPhone apps and then should be able to download it. Give that a go.
