CS:GO Mac - Problems switching servers?

I've never faced this issue in TF2 so it might be worth asking here - whenever I am playing CS:GO and want to IMMEDIATELY change/switch servers (either because the current session sucks, maps are not good etc.), I go to "browse community servers" and pick another server.

Problem is: this NEVER takes me straight to the new server - instead, I am moved back to the main menu ("play game", "options" etc.) and forced to double-click again on the desired server.

Another problem: why don't server filters EVER stay active when browsing for them? I always have to set again whether I don't want "empty" servers, "secure" servers etc...

Can anyone help me here?

Exact same thing happens to me, brings me back to the main page. It's probably worth checking to see if valve knows about it on the GO forums...or you could report it.
