Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I'm playing CS:GO and I'm trying to tweak my macbook to gain some extra "frames per rate / fps" without any luck. It seems like my bootcamp does something to (Counterstrike: Global offensive / which is a game inside steam) so it won't register my changes.. Do I need to activate something in bootcamp for them to work together?

I've tried to activate all my threads/cores, I even tried to just run on 1, but no matter what I write it won't change my fps. I've tried to alter my settings in Nvidia control panel, the FPS won't change except from Ambient Occlusion which increase my fps by 30 if I turn it off.. But the rest, it won't register, maybe it's due to CS:GO being the upper hand..

Anyone else out there who play CS:GO on their MPB? Whats your fps? Any tweaks you've done? What Nvidia drivers are you playing with?

Translation please, CS:GO =, MBP =, FPS=, UR=.

Yes I am being pedantic but abbreviations are driving me crazy.

Is it really so difficult to type a few short words ?

Counter-strike Global Offensive - Macbook Pro - Frames per rate.. It wouldn't fit the topic.. ;)

You should try it in bootcamp, you'll get way more out of the game mate ;)

Really? Can someone please take screenshot of fps or something, and compare? I want to try cs:go through bootcamp, but it's going to be hell installing it (I have no optical drive anymore because of SSD-bay).

I'm with iVaren on this one.

What do you get out of the Windows version of CS:GO that you can't get out of the Mac version??
