Cs:s Fps?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to take a quick poll, what kind of frames per second are you getting? Please post number and the machine you have.

I get about 60 max with dips to 15 in intense sequences on a Late 2008 MacBook Pro 15 inch.

I guess I want to know if it's possible to get 120+ on any iMac that's out there since I'm interested in getting one. Thanks!

I get anywhere from 30-60 on my iMac, all on default settings except textures which I put up to high, and the resolution up to 13xx X xxxx or something. Good enough performance for me. (It has an Ati Radeon 2400HD).

It's a little hard to tell using that cl_showfps 1 command, because it changes about a million times per second, but it's usually in the 200+ fps, until a firefight starts with a dozen dudes on screen, when I've seen it go as low as 59 fps. I thought it never went below 60, but I did catch a 59 in there a couple times.

All my settings are maxed out by default in the auto config thing.

Granted, I'm on a pretty nice machine. See sig below.

You play on OSX and not bootcamp, correct?

Correct. I don't have Windows on my Mac at all.

All settings on high/medium, AA off, 1280x800
Played on OSX 10.6.4

Steady at 50-60 fps, even during heavy stuff. This source game that has been great on my system. Hopefully DOD:S will be the same! Portal on the other hand jumps from 100+ down to 30's... a bit weird.
