I've downloaded a cs:s no-steam version. It's a cider.
everything works fine, but I wanna add a material wallhack (for playing offline, since I have to add manually the sources to play Online, and I'm just too lazy):D, but when I try to delete the original "materials" folder to add the new one, it says that the file cannot be deleted. I also can't rename or add files, and basically, write on the application. It's definetly protected, and i'm not really sure how to disprotect.
PD.: I just bought my mac a week ago, so i'm not very experienced with the OS. maybe it's easy to solve this problem and I just don't know how to.

thanks in advance.

well, thanks.
so I guess I won't be getting any anwsers...

but tell the truth. everybody does it.

Not really. I don't use one game or app on my Mac, iPod or anything really, that I haven't bought.

Even though I don't like to help with piracy, have you tried right clicking, get info, then seeing if the "Locked" box is ticked? Or what the permissions are set to?

haha, yeah.
i'm kinda lazy, so I think it's just easier to download stuff. plus where I live, it's harder to find games like this.

I've checked the box, and it's locked. I unlock it and then try to delete files, but it looks like only the creator of the file can modify it. but congratulations, i'd like to be like you. no serial problems or anything.

You do realise that the only way to buy it is off Steam, right? Then you download it, so it's still easy for you ;)
