CUDA 6.5.14 Driver

Anyone install it yet? It's showing as available from my CUDA prefpane but fails to download with an "Update Failed" message.

Did a search and I found that it's up here on nvidia's russian site: http://www.nvidia.ru/object/macosx-cuda-6.5.14-driver-ru.html

I've downloaded the installer from the following URL:

which is finally listed in the usual place

CUDA-z 0.8.207 did not recognize any CUDA on my system. The cycles renderer from blender did work fine, though. I can't say anything about CUDA 6.5 and other applications like Adobe's CC and the like.

Other than that, the installation from the pkg under 10.9.4 did work fine.

I also downloaded and installed. Still no love in Yosemite, have not tried Mavericks yet.

I just switched over to Mavericks, and now Cuda is broken in 10.9.4 (Cuda-Z doesn't recognize the card) with the new Cuda Drive 6.5.14

Edit - Just reinstalled 6.0.54 and Cuda is back again???????

the update broke it for me too in cuda z but cuda is still seen in premiere etc. i am on mavericks a EFI GTX780

Yeah, I got a "No GPU recognized" in BOINC under 10.9.4 on a 1st Gen Mac Pro with a PNY GTX 660 with the 6.5.14 CUDA drivers.

Web drivers have never worked for me on this machine with the GTX 660, so I went back to CUDA 6.0.54 and reinstalled 10.9.4 Tiamo'ed and it works okay...

The web page says "CUDA driver 6.0.37 is required to work with CUDA 6.5 Toolkit." Something screwy is going on here...

Simply control+click on downloaded pkg (any pkg that fails to install with App store message) select Open and continue with installation - no need to make any changes in Preferences. P.S. I downloaded the package direct from NVIDIA.

6.5 seems to only include x86_64 binaries, 6.0 used to have i386 as well.

BOINC and Roxio Toast fail to see the CUDA-enabled 680MX in my iMac, even though the kext is loaded. These are 32-bit apps. I bet that's the "issue".

Edit: and to back this from CUDA 6.5 release notes:
(Mac OS X) Support for 32-bit CUDA and OpenCL Applications on Mac OS X
Developing and running 32-bit CUDA and OpenCL applications on Mac OS X platforms is no longer supported in the CUDA Toolkit and in the CUDA Driver. Legacy 32-bit CUDA and OpenCL applications will not run on this version of the CUDA Driver on Mac OS X platforms.
