Current theories on a MBP hardware redesign?

I haven't seen a lot of talk about this and haven't found any substantial rumors, but it seems to me a re-design could happen soon. What's the community dialogue around that right now?

I very much doubt there will be a redesign any time soon.

In its current form, the MacBook Pro design is in peak form. Other than perhaps the screen going OLED with less bezels.

Soon, as in the next year or so, is possible.

I think sometime in some galaxy not too far away, Apple will release the MacBook Pro 12" again. What a perfect little laptop for travel. Throw it in a bag and you barely feel it's weight. ARM chip would be so great for it.

I think I'm finally going to upgrade my 2019 16" MBP in 2025. This laptop has been so great to me (64gb ram with the 5600M GPU so never had fan or overheating issues). I used it 8hrs a day for the last 4 years for all my work (photo, video, web development). What a machine.

Looking forward to the M4 max pro or whatever they call it

MacBook Pro 12" again

There has never been a 12" MacBook Pro. The closest would be the PowerBook G4, almost two decades ago. (There was never anything remotely pro about the 12" MacBook, except perhaps the sleekness.)
