I'm having this weird, intermittent bug. When I take my finger off my Apple Magic Trackpad and then, put it back down and move to the right, it takes a split second to respond. But I normally move very quickly so it's very disorienting.

The weird thing is, it only happens when I move to the right, or in a diagonal direction that includes right. Up, down and left haven't shown any lag yet.

It keeps starting and stopping. Most of the time it works as good as ever. But it seems like every few minutes this bug starts up again and then goes away. But, it's not crippling. I'll just have to be aware, and get used to it, for now.

Ok, now it's starting to intermittently happen in every direction except for left. I'm gonna disable my startup items and restart. I'd bet something 3rd party is doing something funky.

Yeah. Didn't really help. Problem still comes and goes. Seems to be happening occasionally with scrolling too.

Just incase anyone wants a follow-up. The problem has persisted, but I got used to it. Although, I just upgraded to Yosemite DP3, and so far I haven't had the lag problem yet, so it may have been handled. Yay, maybe!

Well, I played with Yosemite DP1 and 2 for a bit when it came out, and first thing I noticed was that the Magic trackpad wasn't as smooth and precise than it is usually in OS X.

I assume it's just a matter of being in Beta.

Me too but found a fix

I experienced it today and it was just as you described, but I found when I plugged my MacBook Air into power the lag magically disappeared.

I tried it a few times, take it off the charger = lag, put it back on the charger = no lag.
