following an update of sbsettings there is now what appears to be a cursor. When I try and move it a message appears saying 'not available in 2.x' suggesting that this will be a feature in 3.0?
Any ideas what this is for?

also, i'm not sure if it's the newest sbsettings or using biteSMS (i installed both around the same time) but i have about 10mb less free ram at all times.. it used to idle around 40mb, now it idles at around 30.

It means that you can hold down that toggle icon and it'll do something. On 3.0, if you hold down the wifi toggle, it'll tell you the network you're connected to.

Has anyone managed to get More working under 3.0? When I press it I see the menu popup for about a half second then goes back to Springboard...

You can disable the cursor under more > extras > "Shows Hold Icons."

I think there were two SBSettings updates, so if that option is not there, check for the latest update.

On my 2.2.1, holding wifi brings up a box that says "Sorry, not on OS 2.x"

Some may also notice the new process that is running all the time 'sbsettingsd' mine is currently running @ 1.71MB in memory.

Why put in a 'cursor' if it's not available and has no use unless you have 3.0? Why not simply remove it if you don't have 3.0 lol?

I don't have the 'Show Hold Icons' in 'Extra' options.

Other icons may have extra features if you hold them down. The screen rotation inhibitor, or whatever it's called, does. You tap it once to allow/disallow rotation or hold it down to rotate the screen 1/4 turn.
