Hi All,
I have a jail broken iPhone 1.1.4
I have built an app for iphone using xcode 3.1
I have connected my iphone via mac through AFP and copied the app to Applications folder and restarted the phone. Then a new icon with question mark is appearing and i am unable to open that app. The same app is working fine in iPhone Simulator on my mac.
Please let me know is the process i am following is correct or is there any other way of installing a custom App into iphone.

Thanks,
Dinesh.

As I understand it, the only way you can do app development and download to real devices is to pay the $99 fee so you can get a certificate (security key). At that point the application can be loaded and will execute on phones or touches that you have bound to your certificate key.

I don't believe you can simply build and app and load it to your jailbroken phone because it will not have the correct credential to allow execution.
