Hello,
I’m wondering if anyone can help me with my situation.
I have a MacBook Pro (MacBookPro8,1) which I use as an external hard drive. I have it placed in Target Disk Mode and it’s connected to a Mac Pro (MacPro1,1). I’m running macOS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) using Pike’s Macosxbootloader (http://piker-alpha.github.io/macosxbootloader) on the Mac Pro through the internal hard drive of the MacBook Pro.
Now, what I’m trying to do is disconnect the MacBook Pro from the Mac Pro, and use the MacBook Pro solely on its own. The issue is when I boot it up, I get a folder icon with a question mark.
I know this is due to the custom boot.efi, but is there a way I can modify this boot.efi so that I can boot both from the Mac Pro and the MacBook Pro?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Nikki
