Hey all,

Yesterday I ordered my 2.4 ghz MBP 15.4 incher. Let me just say that I am very excited to receive this laptop - this will be my first 'real' Mac. I ordered the glossy screen after much deliberation, and it says my order is custom configured. Will this make things slower? I have also heard it is harder to return it if there is something wrong just due to this fact. I don't understand how it is custom if all I did was chose one of the default options for a screen..

Thanks!

Custom means that its not "stock", the kind you get when you don't choose any additional options. Stock models are sold in apple stores.. Getting a custom one means that you probably can't just walk into an applestore to swop it. You probably could, but you wouldn't get your glossy screen, as they don't have stocks of it.

The time taken to ship would be the one displayed when you ordered it
