Not sure where to turn for help, so trying here! Per the Apple instructions, I've deleted my DNS records from my domain on Squarespace, which has stopped email from working via my Google Workspace.

I've triple- and quadruple-checked that I've entered the new records from my Apple set-up email -- although Squarespace doesn't seem to let me enter them with the ending periods. On iCloud, I keep getting "Check your SPF record." I've waited several days to see if they take effect.

So my email on this account is inaccessible, and I fear if I restore the Google settings, i Cloud will definitely never work.

Has anyone gotten stuck at this step and solved it? Thanks in advance.

I honestly can't tell you. I tried so many variations of typing in the DNS records, copy-and-pasting them, changing them one at a time. etc. Not sure which did the trick or why. Sorry not to be more helpful.

One note is that when iCloud tells you to delete your current MX records, delete only those, not any of the others.

My new problem, however, is that so far I can't view that domains folders or inbox on icloud.com. Waiting to see it it populates....
