Very surprised—and happy—about this one.

I wonder what TLDs they'll given the thumbs up, as I'm not sure if some of the more recent TLDs validate if you try to create an Apple ID with them.

We'll just have to see when we get closer to the time, or if Apple release more info.
I'm assuming for custom domains, they'll then also need to add DKIM, DMARC, etc, otherwise we would risk damaging our email reputation.

Thought it would never happen. Have been flipping between various services for years but will happily move over to iCloud now I can use my own domain.
