Custom iMac order

Hi all,

I ordered a 27 inch iMac a week ago, top end model with the 1TB fusion swapped for a 512gb SSD.

The order has remained on ‘Processing Items’ ever since, and the ship to store date slipped today from the 19th March to the 21st. Anyone got any experience with how long these things take, or is anyone else experiencing delays?

I’ve spoken to Apple who “can’t explain” the delay, which seems strange!

Probably the 512 SSD is causing the delay, that seems to be reason on other who posted about delays, my iMac with the 512 was assembled in California so they seem to be custom assembled

It's funny (to me) how, Apple's own selections are considered a "custom order". That being said, I'm pretty happy with the turnaround so far - scheduled to arrive 3/22/18.

I have the same model. Took about 10 days.

I take it back—my ssd is 1TB.
