Custom keyboard shortcuts stopped working

I have made a few custom shortcuts in System Preferences. I type a few letters, and the full text gets filled in. It used to work, but doesn't now.



How do things like this stop working?



Can someone please help me to figure out why they do not work now?



Mac OS 10.12.5



Macbook Air



Using Chrome and Safari
