iOS Custom keyboard?

Hi,

Is there any known way to customize the keyboard in apps, while still retaining the normal functionality of text (i.e. selectable, copy & paste in 3.0, etc.)

This was asked in the Standford course and the answer was no. Perhaps that will come with iPhone OS 3.0, but they can't say since 3.0 is under NDA.

That Stanford course is available from iTunes and is worth the time.
