I am a pilot and regularly use what is best described as a 5x8 index card. Actually a whole stack of them with information for navigation etc. I use excel to set up all my data. The problem is no matter what I do I can't get excel to simply print the info as a 5x8. Not just a regular 5x8 centered in the page... but so that one sheet of paper may print 2. IOW I want to be eco friendly with my continuous printing and the best way I can see to do this is print one 5x8, flip the paper, re-insert and print the next one. This way I can just use some scissors, cut the landscape printed page and cut down the middle. NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY IT WONT DO IT! When I click preview it looks perfect as if it will print on one half of the landscaped paper, then when I print it it comes out really tiny. I custom set a page up as a 5x8, and margins at 0... It seems OSX somewhere or HP Software is up to no good. Any help is appreciated.

PS This seemed the best place to place this thread... If I need to move it let me know. Thanks in advance.

I havent used InDesign much.... any tips or basic guidance?

I was hoping for a method that will work straight from Office to save time.

I used to use Excel a lot, but that was a long time ago. When I need to print Excel files now, I open them in Numbers and use Preview to control which pages get printed.
