Custom SMS tones and alerts?

I'm reading this guide and I'm trying to figure out how to change your SMS tones and sound effects on the phone.

Do I have to use "Fugu Navigate" to install the custom sounds?

Do I also have to install SSH on the iphone 3g?

Yes, you will need OpenSSH installed. You will also need an FTP/SSH client installed on your Mac. I use Cyberduck, but as long as it supports SSH, anything should do.

Okay, I just downloaded cyberduck.

Once I install Open SSH, I just follow the instructions on

Please bare with me...I've never used an FTP client with a phone before .

You got it. Once you get Cybersuck set up (search the forums!) you can use it to replace the file. It works like a charm!
