Upstate NY . Was FL.
Is anyone else finding the sound quality of the custom voicemail recording that one makes on the same levels of AM radio transmission in audio quality ?

EDIT : I think I’ve figured it out. Apparently custom voicemail that I record is stored on my carriers end. Hence their tapes must be old 🤣

VM greetings are stored in the carrier‘s systems. The quality sounds bad because it’s likely stored using a PSTN quality codec (G.711 or G.729) and not as “HD Voice” (G.722).
