iPhone Custom whatsapp tone?

I've jbed my phone and the only way to have custom whatsapp tones is to rename the tones? Are there any other ways? Its kinda silly that Whatsapp havent implemented a function for custom ring tones.

Yes it is. One caveat is, it only works universally, so group chat and individual chat tones sounds the same. I was hoping it would work separately somehow.
