Hi All,

I have assigned the task to change the skin of Mozilla Firefox as well as Thunderbird. I want to know
1) How to search for the installation folder?
2) How do unpack the jar files in the installation folder?
3) How to repack the jar files after doing necessary modificatons?
I'm terribly lost. Please help:(

Why go through all that trouble? Most of the UI can be modified by creating a css file and adding images in your firefox profile. You'll have to google the specifics. It's been a little while since I've done it.

Thanks a lot... I have modified the UI. Now I have to create an installer(.dmg file) for Mac OS, so that that file can be downloaded by a link in some site or taken form any external storage device and installed on mutiple Mac OS systems.
Thanks

I treid to create an installer using PackageMaker, Which comes with Apple's developer tools and is located in /Developer/Applications.It created a file with an extension .pkg, which is acting like an installer for Firefox. Will this be a substitute for the .dmg file? Will this work even if we uninstall PackageMaker?
The procedure to create the installer is available @
