Hey, I've seen a lot of threads about making the Dock background clear, but I actualy want to make it more opaque! Like maybe white at 60/70% alpha, instead of the 5% or so it is at now, (hmm, is alpha the right word? I'm too used to Flash : ] ).
Can this be done?

Thanks.

Yeah man, with cleardock you can make it clear, or opaque, and you can select the colour of the opaqness as well as the outline colour.

Alright, I just DLed cleardock, and since I'm a Mac newbie I've got no idea where to go from here. I opened the DMG and dragged the installer into the Apps folder. Not sure what to do next. Thanks much for any help.

Oh, you're not supposed to copy the installer to your applications, unless you want to keep the installer for some reason.
Drag the installer to your desktop, double click it and it will install.
Once it's installed, you can delete the dmg file and the installer file.

Peace

Yeah, I kind of figured that from my windows days, but thanks for the info anyway. I've yet to set up a folder for saving installation files and dmg's. My question, though, is how to access the program itself so that I can begin customizing my dock. I played with Object Dock and Konfabulation on our PC, and found those easier to manipulate but less smooth programs in general.

So, with that said, I just need to know how to open up cleardock now...

Basically, how do I access the "application enhancer"?
